Wizardly World Of Kent Brings The Magic Of Harry Potter To The Buckeye State

Dear Reader,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

At least that’s what we wish we were doing. We’re actually pleased to inform you that you can have quite the Harry Potter experience right here in Ohio. This summer, on July 22-23, muggles around Ohio are invited to attend the Wizardly World of Kent.

Acorn Alley is transformed into something special, a transformation that has people coming to the college-town from all over the Midwest. Take a stroll through Diagon Alley, grab a butterbeer, or just hang out with friends.

You will have no problem keeping occupied with all of the things to do at the Wizardly World of Kent. From The Race That Shall Not Be Named, a 5 ¾ K Fun Run that encourages participants to dress in character to the Wobbly Wizard bar crawl, the Wizardly World of Kent will make the wonder of witchcraft and wizardry come to life.

Festival activities include costume contests, potion classes for all ages, Potter-themed vendors, photo booths, and much more. Restaurants and bars in the area will also be getting in on the fun, offering unique, magical menu items.

One of the highlights of the weekend will definitely be the Bell Tower Ball, where attendees are encouraged to don their best dress robes, house colors, or anything formal. Can you dance like a hippogriff? You’re about to find out!

While some aspects of the weekend do require tickets, like the ball, others are completely free to explore.
